Who is Shakeem Calliste
Born in Brooklyn to immigrant parents from Grenada, I grew up in a world built on the art of transformation.
My mother, a nurse by NIGHT, was an artist at heart, meticulously decorating cakes and teaching me that creativity is an expression of love. My father, an auto body mechanic, was a master of restoration who could take what was worn and make it brand new. Whether he was working on cars, houses, or boats, he instilled in me a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the power to see potential in everything. Their combined influence shaped my core belief: that the things we own should be a direct reflection of our identity.
This unique heritage, a blend of artistry and hands-on engineering, naturally guided my own path. My love for art and a natural knack for technology found their perfect intersection in the world of 3D printing—the ultimate fusion of precision and
imagination. It became my calling. Today, I’ve built my business on this foundation, with a mission to empower others to express their unique vision. I'm here to provide the tools to bridge the gap between your ideas and the real world, helping you create tangible, lasting pieces that truly tell your story.

First encountered the world of 3D printing on an assembly line, sparking an immediate fascination with the technology's potential
The Learning Curve
Leveraged a natural curiosity and a "tinkerer's spirit" to quickly understand the fundamentals, proving that passion can accelerate learning.
Redefined my purpose: to build something with good intentions, to help others, and most importantly, to dream without limits again.
My story is one of connecting the dots, from my childhood passions to the business I'm building today. As a kid, I was obsessed with "Batman's" gadgets and the ingenious traps from the "Home Alone's" movies. When I couldn't get the toys I wanted, I built my own from whatever I could find soda cartons became wrestling rings and Q-tips became action figures.
That inventive spirit eventually led me to a job at MakerBot, a 3D printing company, which planted a crucial seed. Still, I felt a pull to start something of my own, inspired by entrepreneurs on "Shark Tank" and "The Profit," but I struggled to find my place in a crowded world.
THE Turning Point
Found powerful inspiration in the entrepreneurs of Shark Tank and the business principles of Marcus Lemonis, which transformed a hobby into a calling.
During this journey of finding my purpose, I was reminded of how good I am with my hands, having taught myself how to fix my own cars over the years. Around the same time, after putting it down since high school, I started drawing again in 2019, fully reigniting that artistic passion in 2022.
The Fuel
Then, I stumbled upon affordable 3D printers online, and in that moment, everything clicked. My childhood love for building, my rediscovered passion for art, and my fascination with technology finally converged. I bought my first 3D printer, and I haven't looked back.
My mission is to be the person I needed when I was younger. I'm driven to show the world the power of creativity and self-expression, and to prove that it's essential to nurture young talent. This isn't just an idea; it's my promise in action. Right now, I'm helping my niece start her own business, a chapstick line called "Pari Berry Creations," under my 3xtraordnry brand. It's more than just a project; it's my chance to give her the belief and support I always craved. My business is a platform to inspire and encourage everyone to lean into their unique gifts. It’s a living reminder that it’s more than okay to be different, to think differently, and to create something that is unapologetically, extraordinarily you.
The true inspiration behind this company began with a simple request from my six-year-old niece, Paris. When she asked me to draw a bunny, I put my heart into creating Bugs Bunny for her. The look of pure wonder on her face when she saw it was a pivotal moment; she said, "I didn't know you could do that," and in that instant, I felt whole. My goal became to recreate that feeling of magic for everyone.

As I watched Paris grow, I saw that same creative spark ignite in her. She began drawing constantly, and I introduced her to the idea of running her own company. Her eyes lit up. We brainstormed a name, "Pari Berry," a play on her childhood nickname. When asked what she would make, she thoughtfully landed on something for all her friends: a line of ChapSticks. Our partnership was formed: she would be the visionary for the product, and I would design and 3D print a unique, custom case for every flavor. After dedicating the summer of 2024-2025 to developing samples and perfecting the designs, we are now preparing for our launch.

The family legacy continues to grow with my nephew, Jayden. I’ve already introduced him to the world of 3D printing with his own custom Bluey-inspired lightbox. They are my motivation and the future of this company. Everything we build is for them, in the hopes that one day, they will take the lead.
